The Barony of Rowany is an SCA Barony in the Kingdom of Lochac, and covers the areas of Metropolitan Sydney, Norfolk Island and Lord Howe Island, and much of country New South Wales, Australia.

It has four subordinate groups:

• The College of St Ursula (The University of Sydney)
• The College of St Augustine (University of New South Wales)
• The Canton of Stowe on the Wowld (Western Sydney)

and is home to many well-known Households:

House Attica, Casa Caeli, House Drakkar, Fangs of Fenris, Rowany Guild of Defense, Hawkhurst, The Horde, The Lemmings, Domini Luni, House Radburne, The Tournament Company of St James, House Soggy Bogs, 42nd Fahnlein

• Rowany Festival is held over Easter holiday.
• Radburne Anniversary Feast is Mid-to-late May
• Radburne War is usually held in early August
• Feast of St Ursula and Feast of St Augustine are late in the year; September - November
• Al-Hambra Nights is held on the second weekend in September
• Ilkla Moor event is in September
• Tournament of the Yellow Rose is in November
• Rowany Yule Feast is traditionally held on or near the second Saturday in December
• Rowany Newcomers' Feast is usually held around February/March
• Stowe Birthday Feast is mid-April

Neighbouring Groups

Shire of Agaricus lies to the South West of Sydney. The Shire of Adora covers the region south of Sydney, around Wollongong, and encompasses the College of St Malachy (University of Wollongong). To the north lies the Barony of Mordenvale, and to the west is the Shire of Dismal Fogs in the Blue Mountains.
