Modern location
Northern California and Nevada, Alaska, Japan, Korea and Pacific Rim

Geographically the Kingdom of the West covers Northern California and Nevada, Alaska, Japan, Korea and Pacific Rim. The current King and Queen of the West are Alden and Constantina.

There are three principalities:

• Principality of the Mists (Greater San Francisco/Monterey Bay areas CA)
• Principality of Cynagua (Northern Central Valley and Sierras CA, N.W. NV)
• Principality of Oertha (Alaska)

Those areas not included in a Principality are referred to collectively as The Marches. These include northern California, Japan and Korea.

History

The SCA began in the Kingdom of the West.

Atenveldt, Caid, An Tir and Lochac were all principalities of the West before becoming kingdoms in their own right.
