Canton of Ardchreag
The Canton of Ardchreag is an SCA branch in the Barony of Septentria in the Kingdom of Ealdormere. It is made up of the cities of Pickering, Ajax, Scarborough and Markham in Ontario, Canada.
The canton has its own village persona, and is protected by the Cliffguard (armoured combatants) and the Yeomen of the White Arrow (archers and thrown weapons).
The group was founded in April 1991 and achieved full status in August 1993. Its name is Gaelic for "High Cliffs", referring to the nearby Scarborough bluffs.
Cerebus the Aardvark is the group's official mascot (one of the group's founders is from the same home town as Dave Sim, Cerebus' creator), though they are more often associated with flying turtles.
Their motto is "Don't follow us, we're lost too."

The Arms of the Canton of Ardchreag: Vert, four arrows in cross points to center, on a chief indented argent a mountain couped gules between two laurel wreaths vert.
