The Shire of Turmstadt is a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism in the area of Nuernberg, Germany. It has proudly held a leadership position in the German-Austrian Region of Drachenwald for many years. At one time the kingdom Seneschal, Earl Marshal, Exchequer, King and Queen were all drawn from its members at the same time.
For folks that only speak English, "Turmstadt" translates (from German) as "Tower City"
Its traditional events include Red Hot Rapier, The Tourney of St Mathieu, and Harvestfest.
It proudly sponsors the Stronghold of Nebelwald, which is centred in the US military communities of Grafenwoehr, Vilseck and Hohenfels.
