Quadruple peer
A Quadruple Peer can be a person who has been raised to all four Great Orders of Peerage in the SCA; that is, they are a member of the Order of Chivalry, the Order of the Pelican, the Order of the Laurel, and the Order of Defense. Quadruple peers are extremely rare, as they must have demonstrated not only martial prowess in two distinct fields - heavy fighting and fencing (the Chivalry and Defense), exemplary service to the Society (the Pelicans), and excellence in arts and sciences (the Laurels). The Quad Peer has "completed the set" of bestowed peerages. This becomes more difficult as the number of peerages increases. As of this writing, a new peerage for ranged martial activities is the works, suggesting that a Quad Peer will be someone with four of the five bestowed Peerages, and creating the possibility of a Quintuple peer.
You may hear or see a quadruple peer being referred to as Master Master Master Sir NAME or Mistress Mistress Mistress Sir NAME. (See title stacking)
Before the arrival of the Order of Defense, a Quadruple Peer meant someone who had been elevated to the three bestowed Peerages, and was also a Royal Peer. Edward Zifran of Gendy was bothe a Triple Peer and a Quadruple Peer by this measure.
