This is a simple tournament style wherein fighters face each other one on one and are given an arbitrary number of "Swings" in which to strike a "Counted Blow".

Example

In a ten swing counted blow tournament, Lord Bob will swing 10 times on Lord Chuck and any blows that would be counted as good are tallied as Lord Bob's score for the bout. Lord Chuck would then take 10 swings on Lord Bob and any "Good Blows" would count for Lord Chuck.

After both fighters have taken their swings whoever has more counted blows advances in the tournament which is normally run as a single elimination with counted blows being a modifier.
