Principality of Insulae Draconis

The Crown Principality of Insulae Draconis encompasses the 9 SCA shires of the United Kingdom and Ireland as well as the Incipient shire of Iceland. After many long years of attempting to unite themselves under a single name and banner, these 10 groups were granted the right to form a Crown Principality in June 2003. Insulae Draconis is part of the Kingdom of Drachenwald.

• The Shire of Mynydd Gwyn
• The Shire of West Dragoningshire
• The Shire of Glen Rathlin
• The Shire of Lough Devnaree
• The Incipient Shire of Eplaheimr
• The Incipient Shire of Klakivirki

The current rulers are a Viceroy and Vicereine chosen by armed combat every six months. Master Sigmundr Haakonarson and Lady Sagadis Duncansdottir currently hold these positions.
