Dark Horde

The Dark Horde is an SCA household that has members throughout the Known World. It was started on 8 May 1971 (A.S. VI) at the Crown Tourney of the Middle Kingdom in the Barony of Northwoods (Lansing, Michigan) and has grown ever since.

While the nature of the household may be based around Mongolian culture and history, many different personas may be found within it. One of its most notorious members was Ka-Khan Yang the Nauseating, one of the founders of the group.

Their device is a yellow lightning flash on a red and black yin-yang symbol.
