Principality of Insulae Draconis

The Crown Principality of Insulae Draconis encompasses the 11 SCA shires of the United Kingdom and Ireland as well as the Incipient Strongold in Iceland. After many long years of attempting to unite themselves under a single name and banner, these 11 groups were granted the right to form a Crown Principality in June 2003. Insulae Draconis is part of the Kingdom of Drachenwald.

• The Shire of Thamesreach
• The Shire of Mynydd Gwyn
• The Shire of West Dragoningshire
• The Shire of Glen Rathlin
• The Shire of Lough Devnaree
• The Incipient Shire of Raven's Keep
• The Incipient Shire of Eplaheimr
• The Incipient Stronghold of Klakivirki

The current rulers are a Viceroy and Vicereine chosen by armed combat every six months. Sir Ivan Paskiainen and Lady Dorothea Meyer (Raven) currently hold these positions.
