Crossroads is an Australian Cooperative that was formed with the goal of creating a self-sustaining medieval village. It began in 1991 and the Crossroads site in Yass, near Canberra, now has its first building (built using medieval construction methods).
It is well known for its dust levels.
Crossroads and the SCA
The SCA has been using the site for the Rowany Festival in recent years. While many SCA members are also members of the co-op and SCAdians have offered their skills and time to improve the site, the two groups are independent.
The Shire of Torlyon is the closest SCA group to the site.
