Richard III was the last English King to fall in battle (at the famous Battle of Bosworth Field during the Wars of the Roses in 1485) and it is his death that is frequently marked by English historians as the end of the Middle Ages.
The "Richard the Third Society" is an organization determined to prove Richard's innocence in the supposed murder of his nephews, the princes in the Tower.
