The Barony of Hawkwood, a part of the Society for Creative Anachronism, is located in the Kingdom of Atlantia. It covers Buncombe, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, Mcdowell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania and Yancey Counties in North Carolina.
Duncan and Eyrick MacGreggor were selected by King Cuan and Queen Padraiga to serve as the first Baron and Baroness of the newly made Barony, which used to be part of the Barony of Sacred Stone. The first Heavy champion was Lord Dante de Lucia della Luna. The first rapier champion was Lord Greylond Crow and the first Archery champion was Lord Menua of Black Oak Groves.
