Brass (Metal)
Brass is an alloy of copper, and zinc. Technically brass made before the 18th century is called calamine brass as it is made by melting copper with the zinc ore, calamine.
Brass (Instrument)
A musical instrument that produces a sound by a vibration of the lips. eg trumpet and cornet.
