Combat refers to armed or unarmed physical conflict between groups or individuals.

Victory may be determined as the:

  • one who holds the field at the end of the conflict
  • last to yield
  • last to be alive
  • an other previously defined parameter

Combat could be in earnest or could be staged as a sport, eg a tournament.
