The SCA Great Officers are Kingdom officers defined in Corpora as being responsible directly to the Crown and also to a corresponding Society Officer. All other officers are Lesser Officers. Principality Great Officers parallel the Kingdom structure. Below the Principality level, no officers are Great.
The Great Officers are (as of September 2006):
- Seneschal
- Principal Herald
- Earl Marshal
- Minister of Arts and Sciences
- Chancellor of Exchequer
- Chronicler
- Chirurgeon (although events at Pennsic in 2006 may effect this).
