A Christian is a follower of one of the following religions, grouped together as christianity. The grouping is named after a Jewish rabbi, variously known as Jesus Christ who is believed by Christians to be the Savior and by Muslims as a prophet:
- Early christian religions such as Arianism
- Catholicism
- Protestantism, including:
- Pre-reformation protestants, such as the Hussites or the Lollards.
- Post-reformation protestants such as the Lutherans, Calvinists (including Scots Presbyterians), Zwingliists, etc.
Your SCA Persona is a Christian
If your persona is European, you were most likely a Christian. Most Europeans in period were either Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox, although some medieval Africans were Coptic Christian. Protestantism began to flourish in the late part of the period. Secretly (or even openly) some were heretics and still devoutly Christian.
