Childbirth is the process that results in an unborn child entering the world. During medieval times this process was fraught with danger and many women and children did not survive this process. Today the survival rate is much higher.

This process is necessary to replenish stocks of working humans and provide more things to hit during war. It also provides a useful sub-category of goods for traders to provide goods and services.
