The bill was a pole arm typically associated with the English. Sometimes referred to as the English bill. It consists of a blade on the end of a pole and was typically utilised by footsoldiers.

Various heads are identified as being that of bills, but typically they had a hooked and curved blade. Some had additional projections that may be used for thrusting or cutting.
