Boars Head tavern is an event that traditionally runs on the final evening of Rowany Festival, after closing court. It is made up of performances by the populace, which can involve theatre, singing, storytelling, and other performing and Bardic arts. The performances are arranged ahead of time, and divided into two sections with an intermission in between. The first section is for performances considered family friendly, and those after the intermission can be a little more adult-oriented in content.

After the performances end, some people stay around, often loudly singing bawdy songs such as The Moose Song, The Hedgehog Song, and others late into the night.

Sometimes, the Bard of Lochac token is passed on either during Boars Head, or in the revelry afterwards.
