Officer

Officers are the people that keep groups going (from a administration point of view anyway). Officers are the primary link between groups in the SCA and mundane authorities.

A shire must have the following three officers:

• Seneschal
• Reeve
• Herald or Arts and Sciences Officer or Marshal

A Barony (in the Kingdom of Lochac) must have all of the following greater officers:

• Seneschal
• Reeve
• Herald
• Arts and Sciences Officer
• Marshal
• Constable

A Barony (in the Kingdom of Lochac) may also have either or both of the following greater officers:

• Chronicler
• Chirurgeon

Any group may have some or all of the following lesser officers:

• List Keeper
• Hospitaller
• Rapier Marshal
• Water Bearer
• Archery Marshal or Captain of Archers

... or any others of its choosing.
