Regalia in the SCA

Regalia is equipment or items of clothing that are associated with an office or title.

Royal or Baronial regalia often includes:

• crowns/coronets
• cloaks
• thrones
• sceptre
• orb

This type of regalia is associated with a specific office and if the office changes hands, so does the regalia.

Another form of regalia is associated with a specific title, such as the peerage regalia of a Knight:

• spurs
• chain of fealty
• white belt
