The Barony of Thescorre is an SCA branch in the Kingdom of Æthelmearc that geographically includes the greater Rochester area in New York State, the region covering western New York, most of Pennsylvania outside the Harrisburg-Philadelphia corridor, and West Virginia.
The group was first established as the "Shire of Thescorre" in the East Kingdom in A.S. VIII. It became a Barony in A.S. XIII with Alric Bowbreaker named as the first Baron.
