Barony of Thescorre

The Barony of Thescorre is a SCA branch that geographically includes the greater Rochester area in New York State in the Kingdom of Æthelmearc, the region covering western New York, most of Pennsylvania outside the Harrisburg-Philadelphia corridor, and West Virginia.
The group was first established as the "Shire of Thescorre" in the East Kingdom in A.S. VIII. It became a Barony in A.S. XIII with Alric Bowbreaker named as the first Baron.
The Barony's signature events include:
- Pax Interruptus - a summer camping event that was held for the first time in A.S. XII
