Order of the Scorpion's Sting

The Order of the Scorpion's Sting (CSS) is an award from the Barony of al-Barran and was established at Midwinter 1985 by Baron Stefan and Baroness Beau and is presented to those persons who have demonstrated their skill in the fighting arts; both teaching and skill. The first companion of this order was Eldr Fredericksson. The insignia of this order depicts a scorpion and a scimitar. The holders of the Order are styled as Companions of the Scorpion’s Sting and are entitled to place the initials C.S.S. after their names. The award carries with it, subject to the pleasure of the Crown, an Award of Arms.
