A farm beast of the genus Capra, often bred for its wool, milk and meat, and its ability to devour all grass and weeds in a given area. It's leather was prized in the making of medieval shoes and it's milk was used to make cheese.
It is often associated with the devil, with its cloven hooves and horns and can be used as an heraldic charge.
