The Shire of Corvinia is an SCA branch located in Hunedoara city in southern Transylvania, Romania.
This is the first shire to ever form in Romania. It was formed in 2006 with the help of colleagues from the Shire of Ad Flumen Caerulum and Lord Janos Barcsi who donated the first memberships necessary to form a shire. Lord Arnulf and Lord Janos also helped a lot by their motivational encouragement and advice as the shire formed.
The Shire of Corvinia is based at the Corvinus Castle where it regularly holds fighter training and puts on presentations for the tourists who visit the castle. The lords and ladies of this shire often give presentations at public and private events. The shire has appeared many times in the newspaper and on television.
