- Sturdy boots which cover the ankle
- Knee and elbow protection (skate pads suffice)
- Groin guard
- Kidney protection
- Chest protection is strongly advised for women
- Gorget
- Heavy helm
- Hand protection (thick gardening gloves, leather gloves etc.)
