A Swastika, or Fylfot is an heraldic charge known in period, particularly in Norse, German and eastern European heraldry. It was adopted by the Nazi party in the 1920s, and has since become a universally recognized symbol of the Nazi regime.

Such unpleasant modern connotations have caused it to be named a restricted charge by the SCA College of Heralds, and as such cannot be used in SCA heraldry.
