Tiller (Weapon Part)
A tiller is the stock or body of a crossbow. It could also be applied to the stock of a hand cannon. Typically of wood, later crossbows could have these inlaid with metal or wooden decorations. These decorated crossbows are more likely to be hunting weapons for nobility.
Tiller (Maritime Usage)
The tiller is the wooden lever used to turn the rudder.
