Of Coriander.

Coriander hath his name common with us and the Greekes. For it seemeth to be called Apo tou koriou, of plentie of seede. Which seede being taken in sweete wine, provoketh a man to much venerie. But this being after this sort drunke without moderation or reason in so taking it, causeth Phrensie and madnesse.
