The Oldcastle School of fighting is an SCA heavy fighting style developed by Duke Gyrth Oldcastle.

Emphasizing footwork, posture and defense, the Oldcastle style of fighting is focussed on teaching the basics for new fighters in the SCA, and as such is primarily focussed on the use of sword and shield.
