Constable

The constable is the person you see when you need to run an event because they're the people, like the seneschal who provide the main interaction between SCA and mundane authorities. The constable makes sure people pay their money at the event (hence they're also called 'trolls') and sign indemnity forms, watch out for safety violations, SCA violations, and look after lost property.

This person is sometimes is sometimes called the troll.
