The troubadour chansonniers are songbooks which carry the poems of the troubadour songs. There are some forty chansonniers extant, although that number may vary based on one's precise definition of chansonnier.

The earliest chansonniers were written in the second half of the 13th century, and are among the first collections of lyric poetry in a European vernacular language.
