Talk:Medjeeval
How is this pronounced? Any info on its origin? Judging from the few hits on Google, looks like it might be mostly a Lochac term? - JakeVortex 10:50, 30 Oct 2003 (EST)
Not sure of it's origin but I've heard it used in Australia and the UK.--User 144 02:47, 10 February 2008 (EST)
Interestingly, while the vast majority of hits seem to be from Australian SCAdian-authored pages and comments online, it seems that the OCR software that is used for sites like the internet archive can't cope with the word 'mediæval' all the time, and spits out 'medJEeval' or 'MedJEEval'. (Here are some google results).
It's probably unrelated to the first use of the term in the SCA, but it might be worth commenting upon in the article? --Asfridhr 09:32, 2 March 2010 (EST)
