Period Recipe

From the Forme of Cury.

AQUAPATYS. XX.III. XV.
Pill garlec and cast it in a pot with water and oile. and seeþ it, do þerto safroun, salt, and powdour fort and dresse it forth hool.

Method

  1. Put the garlic in a saucepan with the butter and just enough water to cover it.
  2. Simmer for about 20 minutes, until the garlic is translucent, but not too mushy.
  3. Drain the liquid, put in a serving dish and sprinkle with the powder fort.
