Scholastics -- followers of Scholasticism.

It is a commonly held belief amongst Humanists (and User:Del) that all scholastics are tendentious, irrelevant, out-dated, dusty old stick-in-the-muds who argue and dispute about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.
