Richard the Third was the last English King to fall in battle (at the famous Battle of Bosworth Field during the War of the Roses in 1485) and it is his death that is frequently marked by English historians as the end of the Middle Ages.

The Richard the Third Socieity is an organization determined to proove Richard's innocence in the supposed murder of his nefews, the princes in the tower.
