Ragnarok

Ragnarok is a camping event hosted by the Barony of Ramshaven on the Victoria Day long weekend in the Kingdom of Ealdormere. The event includes three nights of camping over the long weekend, armoured combat, fencing, archery, thrown weapons, and bardic competitions.

Ragnarok is the first camping event held in Ealdormere each year, and both popular and notorious because of it. The popularity is because many Ealdormerans have gone months since being able to camp with other SCAdians. The notoriety stems from unreliable Canadian spring weather. All attendees are advised to bring their warmest garb and extra blankets, as well as rain gear and extra changes of clothes. They may not be necessary, but given the history of the event, one can expect anything from balmy summertime temperatures to heavy snowfall.
