Jusquianus.
Jusquianus is called Henbane his vertue good for the goute, & namely those that come of melancolie. Also the seed thereof and the seede of Hemlocke medled together and a candel made thereof or brent upon a tyle stone, and let the smoke go up into a mans mouth in especial amonge the teeth, & it will flee wormes. Also the rootes be good for the tothe ache. Also the joice therof is good for al woundes. Also it swageth the cough and the hote postume, and the hote goute. Also the seede of this herbe shulde be gathered int eh moneth of August, whys herbe is colde and drye in the thyrde degre.
