Isopus

This herbe is called Isope, hys vertue is, yf a man take the joyce therof, and put it in his mouth, it wil heale al maner of evels in the mouth. Also it sleeth wormes in a mans wombe, and maketh it newe. Also if it be dronken grene, or in pouder, it maketh a man well coloured, it is hoote and drye in the seconde degre.
