Balsamita

This herb Balsamita is called horse mynt or water mynte or broke mynte, and also thys herbe doth grow in watry places, the vertu of this herbe is to comfort a mans stomacke & maketh a man wel to defye his meate. Also the Joyce & calrified honye, & read wyne boiled together that do away with the cold from a mans stomack& evel wyndes within him, also the joyce or els the pouder of this herbe dronken with read wyne hote, it maketh women that be with chyld soone and easely to be delivered of their chyldren. This herbe is hote and drye in the seconde degre.
