This is what you should do if you are autocratting an event: advertise, advertise, advertise!
Tell EVERYONE about your event. Go to other people's events and hand out flyers. Go to training and A&S meeting and hand out flyers. Post weekly messages to your local mailing list, and all the neighbouring groups' lists. Put an ad in your barony/canton/college newsletter. Put an ad in your kingdom/principality's newsletter.
Ways to advertise the SCA in general are:
- Community noticeboards
- Contacting your local newspaper before an event
- Put a description of the SCA in your local community handbook
- Websites
