Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), also called milfoil, is a perennial shrub with feathery leaves. Its prolific flowers rang from white to pink. The genus name, Achillea, is derived from the legendary Greek hero Achilles, who is said to have used it for healing.
Yarrow is purported to have a myriad of medicinal properties, including reducing inflammation, encouraging perspiration and relieving indigestion.
