Created in the Far Isles, for the arms of the Brewers' Guild, the pissant posture is normally associated with newts, and has the beast lying on its back, head extended, with a pint pot of beer (or its local equivalent) in the grip of the "forward" (i.e. closer to the viewer) fore-leg.
It would probably adapt well for rats, and might be useful for those of a barbarian mien (the liquid version of the Seafood diet).
