The moy bog gown is an Irish version of a woman's cotehardie, that has some very interesting cutting patterns and seam placements when compared to other plans for cotehardie construction. It may date anytime from the 14th century to the 17th Century, as this style of dress continued to be worn in Ireland long after it was unfashionable elsewhere.
