The shire of Turmstadt is a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism in the area of Nurnburg, Germany. It has proudly held a leadership position in the Central Region of Drachenwald, Frankmark, for many years. At one time the kingdom Seneschalle, Earl Marshal, Exchequer, King and Queen were all drawn from it's members at the same time.
For folks that only speak English, "Turmstadt" translates (from German) as "Tower City"
It's traditional events include Red Hot Rapier, The Tourney of St Mathieu, and Harvestfest.
It proudly sponsors the Stronghold of Nebelwald, which is centered in the US military communities of Graffenwohr, Vilseck and Hohenfels.
