A viscountess is the female title that is the equivalent to a viscount.

In the SCA a viscountess is a person who has ruled a principality at least once. They are referred to as "Your Excellency" and wear a coronet of their choice, most commonly with pearls. In some kingdoms a viscountess is also a Lady of the Rose.
