A basket is a container that is generally made of woven vegetable matter. Typically during the medieval period, this material would be a wood like willow.
Viking Baskets
Boards interpreted as Viking baskets have been recovered that have a wooden base and a wooden lid, which was carved with a basic horse shape.
15th Century Baskets
