Almond Milk was used instead of real milk lenten days. We have found the following a good way to make it.

* 2 cups boiling water<br>

Mix together and let sit until cooled.<br>
*2c [[boil]]ing water<br>
If you dont mind the grainyness, you can then use as is, makes about 2 cups<br>

Strain out the almonds and use just the milk, give you a little over a cup of milk and just under a cup of almond goo.

Combine the almonds and water and let stand until tepid. Strain. Makes a little over a cup of almond milk.
