For the most part, only late [[period]] dances can be recreated, as instructions exist for them (although the instructions are about as clear as period [[recipes]] - certain things are assumed knowledge). There are many pictures depicting dancing in earlier times, but without more than a vague idea of how these dances went, it is impossible to recreate them.
